Community Relations & Organizing

A major shipbuilding company was attempting to secure a contract to build a new ship for the United States Navy. The battle for defense department dollars can be intense so we were retained to help them land the contract. We set up a nationwide grassroots operation to have key influential’s contact their member of Congress and advocate for our position. Our campaign included coalition building, letters to the editors, op-eds, earned media, social media and talk radio.

It took several months to get it out of committee; we were ultimately successful because taxpayers and voters became engaged in the process in their home districts.
